And there is certainly nothing wrong with that. Sadly, the federal government has done little to earn our trust or respect. These two qualities are not simply a right of election or appointment but earned attributes.

Agreed. I just paid MSRP on a lightly used .44 magnum revolver as I wanted a particular barrel length in stainless and I grew tired of searching and waiting for one to pop up somewhere. This particular firearm seldom sold at full MSRP until the current political climate arrived.
Its in very nice condition, I'll make the little mods I prefer and we'll live happily ever after. No regrets.

Yep, I miss that aspect of Ohio greatly. Had a few like that before I moved out of Ohio.

Have a hard time finding 30+mags for anything over 22 from my experience in any state. Just not a whole lot of them.

When deciding to engage a business you first find a market. She knew of a large market for handguns. Her customer were unable to do a legal purchase.
This is a criminal issue not a right assured by the Bill Of Rights. People who deal in illegal firearms are not concerned about our RTKABA.

I cant get the original website to open...so I cant look for myself (just going off the comments of others) but I havnt heard that she sold to any BG's other than a drug dealer?
If she only sold to one BG I would ask the prosecution to demonstrate mens rea, which IS part of due process, and which the CJ system has by and large ignored in this country. Innocent until proven guilty.
(As I said, I cannot view the article itself and I am basing my reaction on that of other posters)

The sheer number of sales would, I believe, constitute a prima facie mens rea in the eyes of the law.
The prosecution will argue that 31 sales in two weeks clearly establishes intent to ignore the law.
