brady reinstated
if the democrats win next year do you think they will try to reinstate the brady ordinance again?

dhelix 04-09-2007 08:25 PM

Democrats won't win!!!! The country will vote for Mccain/RG by default, as they are two rascist to vote for obama and sexist for hillary!!!

There is no doubt that the Democratic platform calls
for reinstatement of Brady, as well as limits on gun purchases and the elimination of several handgun and rifle types. Do all Democrats support that platform? Of course not! But the power mad pols in Washington believe in gun control more than they believe in Jesus.

Beware of socialists, my friends - THEY ALWAYS TELL YOU IN ADVANCE WHAT THEY WILL DO - we just don't believe them until it's too late.

Republicans better kick it into high gear else I think America will vote Democrat this upcoming election.

BrassMonkey 04-13-2007 09:59 PM

You bet they will. They didnt even wait untill 08, they started this year with H.R1022.

mastershake 04-14-2007 04:18 PM

Was 1022 the handgun ban?

BrassMonkey 04-14-2007 09:15 PM

Was 1022 the handgun ban?
No 1022 is the new "Assault Weapon Ban". The following link will give you all the information on the bill.

P.S I love ATHF :D .

What gets me is the people who usually sponsor these bills are usually the ones that have never fired a weapon in their lives. So, they want to regulate something they don't understand. For example, the lady who started this bill, I think her name is McCarthy or something similar, it's clear she doesn't know what she's talking about, as is evident when being interviewed.

GUNGIRL 04-23-2007 06:48 PM

first of all...its old news...second of all its all scare tactics talk...and it will not be pretty if they do reinstate the law...I am not worried at all..

"So politicians believe they will pay a price at the polls if they support new guns laws, even when most voters agree with them. When it comes to public opinion, intensity matters. Not just numbers."
