Yes, a publicly traded company must make decisions with the share holders in mind.
Check out all 3 of there Facebook pages. Thousands of pro gunners, including myself, have been politely begging all 3 for months to take a stand. These requests are either ignored or deleted by all 3.

Believe me Robo... This effort is not something I took lightly or on a whim. People like us have been pleading with these guys for months to no avail.

Unfortunately, it's now time to extract our pound of flesh.

I would just like to say I'm glade right now I own no guns from either maker. It's heart breaking to find they care more about there pocket books then the people that's put money in them.

Here is where I have to disagree, they don't make that much money from military/LEO contracts, and the reason the may still be supplying to them is because they are in a contract.

Despite all of this commitment, the IRONY is that the vast majority of Guns used by LEO's within the State of NY are produced by SIG SAUER, GLOCK, and SMITH & WESSON.

None of these BIG 3 have raised a FINGER or risked a DIME to support American Liberty. For each of these BIG 3, Government contracts make up LESS THAN 25% of thier TOTAL SALES.

It's high time ALL 3 are told that if they don't stand with us, we don't stand with them... and see how well there shareholders like the dividends they receive when sales DROP to 25% of last quarters margins.

BOYCOTT SIG, GLOCK, and SMITH & WESSON!

Agreed.

I hope this picks up steam and quick, send your cards and letters TODAY.

We hurt S&W before, they should know better via experience.

I wasn't planning on buying a Glock, Sig, or S&W anyway, soooo boycott won't be a problem.

This sucks! I have a Sig and S&W and this so disappointing. I won't destroy them but I can trade them.

I'm confused guys.

Wonder why nobody remembers Ruger openly and publicly supporting Klinton's AWB???

Oh yeah, now I remember. Rugers are cheap enough for "Bubba" to afford so they get a pass.

How many of you "boycotters" wear Levi's jeans??
We remember but bill ruger is dead and gone and the current ruger isnt the same folks.

I dont think boycotting lee makes much sense as they arent making or marketing firearms.

When it comes to contracts there are often bits in em that allow one side or the other to end a contract. Manufacturer contracts are typically done at the behest of the producer not the procurer in order to insure tooling and assembly and raw materials expense are covered.

My opinion still stands that even our front line troops should be limited to whatever magazine capacity civilians are limited to if such things come to be.

Neither the soldier storming the beach and confronting jihad johnnie or mr policeman arresting crackheads have more right to firearms than the average civilian. The citizens of this country have the gods given right to firearms more so than the servants of the political elite do.
