Just read this>

NY State has until Friday to explain why it was "necessary" to rush this law into effect and skip the NY Constitutionally required 3 day waiting period for new legislation.

If they can't, the Court will issue an injunction... and it don't look like they can. Justification was a letter from the Gov stating it was urgently needed to remove dangerous weapons from the street but it does nothing of the sort.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the thread yet, but we should write these three companies, and any other that doesn't support 2nd amendment, and tell them that we will not support them if they don't support us.

10 round mags OK but still limted to 7 unless at a range or competition. Still giddy over the AWB.

Sounds too me like he's trying to ward of Friday's "injunction" with some theatrics... Sure hope it don't work.

The court really needs to consider the larger question of Citizen and LEO safety and put this whole POS bill in the trash can.

Given the pushback... I highly doubt NY law makers have the balls to try it again and observe the 3 day wait.

Tack

the State has already been given notice that it will need to provide a valid argument as to why the mandatory 3-day review period was waived before this legislation was brought to a vote

for an idiot like Cuomo I highly doubt he will be able to provide a valid reason. My prediction is a court injunction in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Guys :
If you've run out of legislators in your district to phone, call Sen. Joe Manchin of WVA as I did and let him know that " blue dog " Democrats had better remember who elected them . Google to get to politician's sites and then click 'contact' .
