The East Coast folks in these socialist anti-gun states need to take their issues to the Polls in November and in 2016. And do everything to change this mess! Being a strong Independent and vote for the person, I can say that there seems to be a common denominator with the Democratic Party and those who support their objectives to violate the Constitution and the Second Amendment. They are not the Democratic Party of my Grandfather! They are progressive liberal socialists! Not Democrats as we knew years past. But do a great job deceiving the good traditional Democrats that are left. They have their own agenda and it is not in our interest.
The South is not complaining because we are getting the weapons companies relocating in our states! And we believe in the Second Amendment and the Constitution! Even some of our Senators and Congressmen in the South are NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters for example!
We are getting the entire Beretta Plant relocating here in Tennessee soon! Since Baretta is telling Maryland to shove it!
Let the East Coast Crooked Politicians live in their squalor! Since they are now losing their tax base and industries! As well as a lot of good true American citizens who are finding out there is parts this great Country that is still the true America!

Ya but, these True Americans you speak of that are moving to Red America are bringing their Blue politics with them. They seem to have missed the connection.

Texas is well on it's way to becoming a Blue state. New jobs mean new people and these "New" east coast imports are not smart enough to put two and two together and come up with why they had to leave their Blue State in the first place.

Pressure cookers seem to be a bigger issue in Beantown than Longarms!

Being from one of the states people seem to be deserting, I just want to point out that a good many of us have not deserted and we are fighting to take our states back for our children. Those of you that have been the recipients of NYers should understand that not so many have actually deserted because of the anti 2A sentiments until the Safe Act was signed and that still isnt the #1 reason to leave NY, its been more about jobs, other regulations, fees and taxes than anything else. Thats why when they get to your states, they want to make it New York like ASAP and from what Ive been seeing they are doing that at a quickening pace. My guess is the same could be said about places like Georgia, Atlanta and Alpharetta have become a single city now and the natives are being forced to push further out to maintain the quality and slower pace of living they cherished for more than a century.

Thats why Ive been saying for years that the 2A friendly states below the Mason DIxon are on a fast track to becoming that which yall despise regardless of the way things always were down there! Weve all been standing in our own little corners too long and before you know it, they are all gonna look the same. Upstate NY has begun digging in our own Mason Dixon just below Albany. We once were more likely to worry less about what they did in NYC than what was happening in our Rural Counties until Uncle Andy decided it was time to put us all in the same cage full of poo. Mass Citizens are less able to mount any defense because they are more tied to the city than the shrinking rural zones they have left.

Back to the thread, citified suckers like Bean Heads, The Motor City Rats and Big rotten apple worms are infecting the rest of our state and nation with their very localized issues and fears. Even those with the big bucks are jumping ship while still working in the big city by buying on the outskirts and commuting or now telecommuting. We cant fight City hall unless we can silence it with our votes and our wallets. Ive vowed to do may damnedest to not spend my time or money in human zoos of any type. I support elected officials upstate like the 95% of County Executives and nearly 50% of Sheriffs that have demanded the Safe Act be repealed with my vote and do my best to stir up our rural natives any chance I can.

About fifteen years ago, three of my younger close buddies moved down to Georgia. They are all Tradesmen and Redneck Rural Rats through and through much like me. They left the state cause of the Taxes, entitlement class (welfare), regulations and other pay per play things that were only getting worse. All three have thrived in GA but all have said the same thing, Georgia is not the same state they moved to 15 years ago, not even close.

With the huge influx of hard workers also came a flood of retirees, big money business owners, Educrats and Politicrats. Many of them brought their wealth to that Georgia and other places exclusively for tax breaks. The lower standards of living and lower wages make their capitol and savings go much further much longer. They didnt move there because they were publicly progressive in other ways like the states they created with their wealth that now are verging bankruptcy.

Just like the NYC rich Folk that buy up entire farms upstate for pennies on the dollar of their worth anywhere near NYC for their country play houses, the first thing they want to do is educate the ignorant natives (us)!

They are gonna lower crime we didnt and dont have,
limit and eliminate pollution that doesnt exist here,
Give our poor citizens handouts instead of jobs,
automate and expand services we never needed to begin with,
make our children smarter so that they are more like them than us!

That didnt work out for the places they are escaping when they come up to the bread-basket of NY to hide!

When I think of the northeast I envision pilgrims with blunderbuss shotguns, and those being the weapons of choice to survive on, and to settle into those lands. Now Boston wants to take away that heritage. Ironically stupid. Maybe the artwork should be dubbed to have the blunderbuss replaced with a Sam's Club card and a bag of cheetos on a fat guy's shoulder.

Lest of course they follow their Oath and get their ass fired.
Like I have been saying when it comes to making the 'right' decision, "It is generally hard to do the RIGHT thing and easy to do the WRONG thing", and this applies to LEO's as well as the public. MOST people, including LEO's, will take the easy road!

Unfortunately for us living here, we are out numbered by illegals and blind followers 20 to 1, so the same bozos will keep getting elected all the time. Theres really no hope for New England, maybe we should start calling it Old England?

I agree. I live in Rhode island. Thankfully our people have done a great job of keeping those nasty laws in Ct and Ma from influencing our state. We don't have an awb and a bill the same as new York's safe act was shut down pretty fast. We have a strong group of 2a supporters who remain vigilant when an anti gun bill is introduced. The worst things about this state, in regards to gun laws, is the "may issue" carry permits. It's nearly impossible to get one. I hope that new Hampshire stays free, because if RI gets any worse then I'm moving there. I'm sorry to the southern states if some of our liberal democrat folks move down there. It isn't fair to try to change a way of life that has been the same for centuries. If I moved down south I know I'd love it as I've spent a large amount of time south of the mason Dixon.

Having long guns--rifles and shotguns--especially here in the city of Boston. I think we should have, as the local authority, some say in the matter. [And] the federal [government] doesn't really allow us to have the discretion that we want in these particular cases.

“Our position is really very, very simple,” said Wayne Sampson, executive director of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association. “We, as an association, believe that it’s unconscionable that if we determine a person is unsuitable to carry a handgun, that they can then turn around and apply for a Firearms Identification Card, which allows them, by law, to purchase rifles and shotguns. And there’s no way we can impose any restrictions on that. It just doesn’t make sense.”

It really is tough to argue the point. I mean Chicago has really ratcheted down their fire arm regulations and look at how much safer that city has gotten.

It's amazing how blind stupidity makes a society.
