I understand that. But anti (anything) will not see it your way, not matter how many facts you present to them.

Remember, the anti-gun guy... he's a noob when it comes to guns. There are members in this forum who were anti-gun till someone took them shooting. If you spend a little time talking to some anti-gun people, you may find one who wants to feel "open-minded" enough to try shooting. If you're going for big game, sometimes you need to hunt where others don't!

There are also anti-gun people that have absolutely no interest in wanting to have anything to do with guns, because they just flat out hate them ad feel that no one should have them.

The "antis" that are willing to go shooting really aren't true antis.

I think the situation isn't quite as black/white as you suggest. There are certainly the dyed-in-the-wool haters. But I've found that most groups of people contain a variety. And if you can convert one of the less absolutist members, it's one less for them and one more for us. Just a thought...

Default The joke was on me..................

Yesterday a black cop shot and killed a 14 year old black teen here in the parrish. The other suspects turn tail and run. The mother said that her son would never touch a gun much less use one. Maybe she wasn'nt the mother................

I do believe that there are some principles of gun control that have been proven time and time again. These are vital. Everyone can benefit from this form of gun control. It makes society a safer place.

Here are those principles:
1) Stance
2) Grip,
3)Trigger Control,
4)Sight Alignment,
5)Sight Picture,
6)Breath Control,
7)Follow Through
