There are a lot more gun owners and 2A supporters in Ca. then people think. The trick is to get them active.

Damn, I did not know it was that bad. Take care of your wife, I would do so for mine. If you need a break, come to Orlando and stay with me. We can shoot, she can rest by the pool, and we can eat good!

Eventually we supplied the equipment, but I have no idea at how much more money it cost.

CA, could you even move over the Nevada line?
California regulates everything to death. A few years ago I wanted to build a simple carport and went to the county offices to see about a permit. Now remember this is just a pole structure and a roof. The county fire dept. wanted a $60.00 permit to come out and make sure the wiring was up to code. DUH........ no wiring in the thing and when I protested I was told that was how they bought new equipment. Plus the required permits to put the damned thing up amounted to more than the cost of materials.
Several years ago when the state was going through another MAJOR budget crisis one county ( I think it was Lassen or Nevada county) wanted to secede to Nevada state. That didn't work either.
Our beloved leader before Arnold was Gray Out Davis. He entered into contracts with out of state utilities that cost the people of this state billions for over priced electricity. Just one more example of the elite being totally out of touch with the common man.
This has been going on for years in this socialist state. Remember catalytic converters? Guess whos family was heavily invested in the company that supplied them? The Browns. good old moonbeam and his dad.
See why so many of us want to leave.
Rant for Sunday morning over . Thanks

I remember weeing signs saying entering the State of Jefferson. I wish they could spit at least into 2 states. The free loaders would head south in a hurry if the welfare was cut.

You don't want it more than most of the people that live around here.
The Tea Party is a very strong movement around here and everywhere you look there is a strange yellow flag flying from front porches, bussiness, and even on the sides of some vehicles.

there are a surprising number of gun owners and active shooters in California, but we are the silent ones, we fight for the USA, we have jobs and families and stay out of the headlines. but it is now becoming evident that this will not work we must be active and get the meatheads out of gov't.

when pushed about the 2A, i tell the jerk you push to remove the 2A, i am pushing to remove the womens right to vote, you have something you don't like i don't like you voting..makes them crazy.

Yo, 357, if i had some monies saved i would be outa here too

I don't dare open carry for fear of being shot by an anti-gun cop. Sadly, there's plenty of them here. I also think an unloaded gun is useless.

This is in the first post of this thread:

"Assembly Bill 144, introduced by anti-gun Assemblyman Anthony Portantino (D-44), would change the state’s gun laws and prohibit law-abiding citizens from carrying an unloaded handgun openly. There are currently only six states that do not allow for the open carrying of a firearm. California is the ONLY state considering banning open carry. In fact, many states are considering legislation to loosen the restrictions on gun owners by allowing law-abiding citizens to carry a firearm without a permit. AB 144 passed in the state Assembly by a 45 to 29 vote. This bill is currently scheduled to be heard in the Senate Public Safety Committee on Tuesday, June 7."

I'd rather see the freeloaders head north to Berkeley.
