This is the operative clause in her response. And this is what has created this problem. No one of any legal expertise has reviewed this and therefore BPS just bends over for any liberal agenda.

Right but supposedly she was consulting her legal people about it, so I would think they could have come up with a better answer, but it seems they too are erring on the side of caution, I emailed her back and she did agree that exceptions 9 and 10 would be good reason for us to believe that it is not illegal for nonresidents to buy ammo, especially 10 that is the one about licenses, so a CC license holder should be able to buy.

I agree with you completely, I just think she is being cautious about giving definite legal opinions and dragging themselves into the argument.

I believe you're exactly right, and that's VERY sad. This is an organization that tkaes in money every year and exists with one sole purpose: To fight **** EXACTLY like this.
This should be the kind of stuff they look for themselves, not shy away from.
At least her legal people agreed with us on #9 and #10. Thats a start. And a good one.

I agree if I was in charge of an organization like that I would want to fight this stuff too, but every organization only has so much money to run on and this particular organization is probably more concerned with fighting for CC rights for IL residents than expending resources getting ammo buying rights for nonresidents who don't belong to the organization, I can't really fault them for that I guess, though some help from a group like that would definitely be beneficial.

I was born and raised in Illinois, and spent 38 years of my life in that liberal, socialist, stink hole. I finally got smart and moved to Arizona in 1991. It was the best move I ever made. I would encourage others to do the same. Illinois will only get worse.
I checked the property taxes on the house we sold there in 91. In 2008, 4 YEARS AGO, the property taxes were $9,485.00 on a 2,600 Sq. ft. home. My current property taxes this year for a 1,650 sq. ft. home were $970.00. You do the math. And I should also mention Illinois is broke.

A company as large as BPS has to have lawyers on-staff that could review the law as it's written and cases that have been decided based on that law. It seems pretty clear: residents must show a FOID card, non-residents are exempt. It would be nice to hear from BPS' legal department on this.

If you go back you will see the legal departments of not only BSP but all the major ammo retailers in the state are getting together and trying to take this on together.
I'm sure as any other time you are dealing with the government it will not happen over night!
Now lets get together and support the retailers ( who are trying to support our 2nd amendment rights ) and not let the "Cook County Gang" cause us to fight among ourselves. Remember where we got Obama from!
This was not caused by the retailers in ILL but by the Anti Gun groups chipping away and the only way we can stop them is to stick together.
If you look at history ILL is trying what was done in Great Britain when they divided the gun owners - - - first it was "weapons of war " that got banned but they promised to leave everyone else alone - - - then they banned the evil hand guns - - - but left the hunters alone. After they had that in the bag they then went after the hunters and now it is nearly a total ban.
