Looks like they actually did fix the problem!
So, how was your visit to the communist state Balota?

Been there a few times since this ended and no problems with ammo purchases except the high prices! Looks like IL has 6 months to arrange a cc program as their ban on cc was struck down by the supreme court. Guess we'll see how things go from here.

You bet...bring ZG, wear costumes, and you'll head back to Indiana 2 rounds heavier.

Tried to get 230gr like I normally use. They had none. That was the only Federal 45ACP they had. Mainly wanted to find out how they handled an out-of-state customer. Probably should have gotten some other brand to run another setback experiment... Hindsight is 20/20.

Scary. Running around with an unloaded, locked up gun in the trunk... And my trunk monkey is on vacation in the Far East someplace...

The news media is going nuts about the court decision. 180 days (minus a few) is all they have to pass some kind of concealed carry legislation. According to some of the media here, if they fail to pass legislation, the court decision makes it legal to carry w/o a permit!!!

Arizona, Vermont, Alaska, Illinois ... which of these things is not like the other? Wouldn't it be crazy if Illinois wound up in that group?

Im guessing they'll make it ridiculously expensive and require a ton of training and testing. I don't see anything wrong with the latter 2 but I imagine they'll make it as easy and lengthy a process as getting an atf tax stamp. Either way... I'd like to see some interstate reciprocity. Wishful thinking.
