Sadly I can't vote with my wallet as we don't have any here. But if we did have one, I'd tell them where they could stick it. I would go out of my way to shop anywhere else.

We are doing our business elsewhere but it still doesn't hurt to prod them and try to get them to change their policy or at least get them to admit this has been going on rather than allowing them to hide behind their self proclaimed "pro 2nd amendment, Pro cc" title they are giving theirself.

I put a comment up at the bottom of the article, I don't know if it has been responded to or not, if not I will find out how to email directly to guns.com.

I went to the Guns.Com article and posted a comment. Found out later one of the 18 other comments also contained the link to this thread. The Guns.Com article and the other 17 comments all thought BPS (and Mr. Whiteley in particular) did a great job handling an unfortunate mistake. The mistake was different from this situation and BPS appears to have actually done something constructive in handling that one. Who knows, maybe they'll sit up and take notice this time around. If not, I'll keep sowing my green stuff in other pastures!

I've contacted guns.com with the story and a link to the site. Anyone who's interested can email them at tip@guns.com

On a positive note - i see the petition is up to 35 signatures =)

Considering the lack of exposure this situation has had, nation wide, i'll take that as a win...thanks to all that signed!

Got a response from guns.com

Thanks for the email. I sent to the editors.

We use that Gurnee location ourselves and their policies are always changing up there.

Good, I hope they look into it further and write an article about it, then at least their subscribers on Facebook and wherever else will see whats happening.
