The Ruger site is a great first step. I suggest you contact the local offices of your Senators and Representative as well.

I haven't been able to find the details but the SKS would probably fail the one characteristic test. Based on this summary the M1 might make it (I don't own one so I'm not 100%). But my Marlin Model 60 is out, seriously they consider a Marlin 60 an assault weapon! (maybe the full text will exempt 22s from the fixed 11+ round magazine test, even Washington DC has that exception).
- All semiautomatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature: pistol grip; forward grip; folding, telescoping, or detachable stock; grenade launcher or rocket launcher; barrel shroud; or threaded barrel.
- All semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature: threaded barrel; second pistol grip; barrel shroud; capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip; or semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.
- All semiautomatic rifles and handguns that have a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
- All semiautomatic shotguns that have a folding, telescoping, or detachable stock; pistol grip; fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds; ability to accept a detachable magazine; forward grip; grenade launcher or rocket launcher; or shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
- All ammunition feeding devices (magazines, strips, and drums) capable of accepting more than 10 rounds.
- 157 specifically-named firearms (listed at the end of this page).

The bill text should be online soon. Check http://thomas.loc.gov/ search for S.150

I'm at something of a loss trying to sort out how my CX4 Storm (8 shot .45 acp) gets dropped in with "All AR types, including the following."
I have to keep telling myself over & over again that logic has no meaning here.

I know I posted this on a couple of topics already, but this is definately a thread it needs to be on as well. Promise I am not spamming here!
Obviously the Liberal agenda doesn't understand logic & reason so let's see if they understand sarcasm. Please sign up for my White House petition to ban Assault Automobiles in the style of Feinstein's weapon ban. If we get 150 folks signed up it will go live on the White House site. If it then get's to 100,000 they will have to respond to it. Please sign it and pass the info along to other 2nd Amendment supporters!
