Background checks to buy powder coming??
That Jolly old senator is introducing a bill to require background checks to buy black or smokeless powder. Another knee-jerk response, but you pretty much knew it was coming.

Yep. Lautenberg. Somewhere, a village is missing its idiot.

Why, I will just bet you that last weekend there were gang bangers running ALL over Chicago with 3 band Enfield rifled muskets. Probably had a couple of LeMats, too.

You know, that little fracas in Lexington started when the British commander decided to march there and seize the supply of that dangerous "black powder" that those right wing domestic terrorists had stockpiled there.

Anybody here from Jersey? I will buy you a beer if you send Lautenberg a note, and give him hell for whining about "black powder"- but you have to include the phrase "Why does someone always have to bring up color?"

I wonder if Schumer will bring up tagints (sp?) again? It has been many, many, years since Schumer fought for these tiny serialized plates to be in all gunpowder so when fired they could be traced to the shooter. He fought for this for YEARS!

Did they say what the Boston explosive/s was/where!? Are they gonna ban fertilizer if that's what it was!? Look at what happened in West, Texas...

In the mean time the Left is so mad they lost a photo op!!!

They couldn't pass a ban on magazines or semis. How far do you think a powder bill will get? C'mon, gize!

Is this how the idiot politicians are gonna react everytime something happens? If so its going to be a long rest of my life.

TNFrank 04-19-2013 03:43 AM

So what will they do if they find out it was somekind of peroxide bomb or something other then gun powder that was used? A lot of "blonds" will be upset if they have to fill out a form and get a background check for peroxide to color their hair.LOL.
Of course on a similar note, total accident at a fertilizer company in Texas killed more people and wounded just as many. Basically LIFE is risky, it's something we just have to deal with. No law or government interference will make it less so.

It all has to be fought tooth and nail or it will go to levels of crazy gibberish that we can only dream of. Think of it, a bubble wrapped world where everyone can bounce around, oblivious to everything around them like sheep in a corral.

Oh wait....London did that in 2008 when they padded lamp posts to keep walking texters from injuring themselves. If there ever was a moment a city could hold as a collective shame,...thats it.

Bigcountry02 04-19-2013 04:16 AM

I told you all that they would since the Boston bombing and those idiots on left stream media, including Fox News saying Black Powder.
