Its a positive sign but signs are easy to paint and its whats happening behind the sign that should worry us. Harry admitted he didnt have the votes yet so hes out for now. That doesnt mean he didnt want to pass it and he still does want it (and more) to go through his little fingers and become law.

The fight is now on; the Dems wont budge on anything till they get their way on gun control. If the Republicans can be painted as stalwarts again, they will likely "compromise" just to get reelected. In NY, any Dem or Republican that voted for the "Safe Act" is targeted for removal when next they ask for our vote. Those in Washington showing support for Andy and BHO's Great Gun Grabbing Adventure's are in the same boat as C3's guns were, now at the bottom of the lake!

We have 2 years to bring forth challengers to many of these Orwellian Fairy Tale publishers, its time now to start identifying and supporting voices of reason and law and de-funding NWO Republicrats that compromise our rights FOOG (or theirs).

I saw one major city paper headline: "Shame On U.S." with pictures of dead CT kids framing the entire cover. THAT is the Left... Anybody wannna defend its leader now!?

Apparently we will keep being attacked to keep Americans angry at each other, all our basic rights being assaulted from all sides, trying to convince half of us the 2nd Amendment still is the only one in the Bill of Rights that didn't mean the people when it says "the people" and that we need "common sense gun laws" including national registration (which is always the prelude to confiscation). And useful-idiots, even here, will sit back and say "O.K., if the Party says so it'll make sense to me."

Re:AR prices. They won't be coming down for a while, not till LGS showcases are overflowing again. Guys won't be in such a big sweat to buy one now, but if you think prices will come back to Earth right away, you'll be disappointed.

They dropped it. But their intention is to use it as a chipping block. They sill get legislation on mag capacity and some registry laws. You will think that we won and let them have a small victory. Eventually the small victories will win the war. We havent won anything yet.

I don't think the UN arms treaty will be able to come into effect until our government has already practically disarmed us. Because if it were to happen right now, there would be too many dead UN soldiers, they are going to have to do it in steps, but as Americans we need to act as if any step is just the same as if they were taking all your guns.
