If there is any firearms owner out there that think the Democrats have dropped the push for gun control, punitive firearms legislation and their ultimate goal of confiscation ... please, turn in your firearm(s) now and step to the side

This fight will only be settled in 1 of 2 ways - a SCOTUS ruling affirming that the peoples right is inalienable or by armed conflict ... anyone who thinks differently is a fool

I understand that the threat is still out their, this is just an update. The AWB was dropped for the gun bill created by the democrats. There is still the "high capacity" magazine ban waiting to hopefully get shot down soon. They will still try to get our firearms and get rid of the 2A. Keep on your toes everyone. Like Ronald Reagan said "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction."

The last time we had such a war for power it was the Civil War...the north against the south. If they come for my guns, your guns, any of our guns, it will be the East and West against the rest of us. No, I will not give up my guns: no, I will not go easily. I worked hard for my little slice of heaven and I intend to keep it. Charlton Heston said it best...."from my cold dead hands".

I hope everyone realizes what is going on here.

1. The magazine cap limits and universal background checks are still in the gun control bill and WILL be voted on.
2. The AWB will be put forward as an amendment and could be added to the full bill. The thought is that it will be voted down but the Dems believe they have a better chance of getting it added as an amendment.
3. Some states have already taken steps and continue to propose further controls.

Bottom line, DO NOT let your guard down. Keep contacting your representatives. This is far from over.

This just makes things worse because they needed 60 votes to pass it as a bill. Now they only need 50 to pass it as an amendment

And if they start working on this "below the radar" there will be less and less opposition.....
Don't think that is not a strategy they have considered.
Let things cool down a bit and sneak parts in in other ways.....

That is what I'm thinking, it will end up getting passed by the majority of states. I doubt that it will ever pass in places like Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas, Alaska etc... But 35-40 states may end up passing it.

Remember those who have taken part in this. They cannot keep loyal to their party's charter, they are not loyal to the oath of office, they are not loyal to themselves.
So it means that they are not loyal to the people they represent.

Make sure they do not get reelected.
