Too much legalese for me. Does this apply to buying and selling between states? Or is it a means of using the Commerce Clause to force us all to apply to the AG for permits to own firearms? Sorry for the confusion.

Black Panther Bobby Rush sponsors trash like this every session of congress. He seldom gets any co-sponsors and his bills go nowhere.

On balance the only silver lining I see here is that in their rush to pass something they will inadvertently supersede and invalidate stricter laws in states like NJ, NY and CA. The resulting confusion and Court challenges will take years to unravel.

It would supersede stricter laws in those states, but it would also supersede laxer laws in states like mine. Do you really think the AG will issue to anyone? Hell no. Not unless you're a mexican drug cartel employee.

You might try donating to his/her campaign fund for whatever office they decide to run for next election. Yeah, that might work! Did I really just say that, that's just wrong. Nobody in elected office ever resorts to cronyism. It's always for the good of the people! Right?
