Where would be the best source to find information on Australia's results from the gun ban? The youtuve video that was posted is a little outdated but I am really interested in seeing more recent results. I am being told that it has been very successful but I sure as hell dont want to give up my guns and think there is a better way to get similar results.

As a veteran and American Legion member, that is exactly what I tell my friends.
If you're still active duty, what percentage of your comrades-in-arms would obey that oath if it went against a direct order from the CIC????
My guess is 55-65 percent. What do you think??

The way I read it was, not-retroactively... put pro actively...and she said "bans the possession of" which makes me think, to be grandfathered it would mean making an assault type rife an NFA item.. which means you can keep it, if you pay your $200 tax stamp and engrave the lower just my thoughts

There better be a whole bunch of them. There's only one way in,and it's over a 1/4 mile to the house from the road.
They will be stacked up pretty deep before they get to the door!
If the UN wants to keep peace, they'll stay the hell out of Texas,we hate them almost as much as the French.

My dad bought an Ar in 1999, during the AWB... It didnt have a bayonet lug or flash hider and he bought a crap ton of preban mags.
Even under a AWB, you can still get ARs AKs and anything else you want.
Stop flipping out, it isn't helping.

You are correct. There was never a shortage of these Modern Sporting Rifles and Mags. The only thing it did was push the prices up. The Push Back has not yet started it will very soon. The polls out today show weapons bans are not popular. The office holders remember the seats lost over the AWB of 1994.
Panic buying will remain high. The NRA Membership is growing by 8,000 new members every day. Biden is a Lightining Rod the NRA growth will hit record highs. The Push Back will be hard.

The damned right wingers don't care about children!
The damned left wingers want to confiscate our guns!
And the cries will be shrill for a few weeks, then slowly die away.
