Have not decided yet... Do have enough air miles to cover the round trip ticket.

Regardless of my opinion on this shindig (you know what it is) I do think it would be cool to have our humble forum represented on the front line. That said, I fully support you flying to DC and marching. Just be vigilant. My only advice.

If I do go... I'll be sharing lots of pics.

Would be quite satisfying to be able to upload footage of a peaceful, uneventful, event... as I believe this will be.

No need to hope my friend... I'm pretty much always right, so the odds are certainly on my side.

This is also to anyone else that thinks that our numbers and their numbers don't matter...

Back during the American Revolution, both the Continental Army and the British Army were on equal footing as far as type of weaponry is concerned. They both had muskets and cannons.

We have a variety of rifles, and maybe a few that have select fire/full auto weapons.

They have select fire M4s/M16s. They also have fully automatic machine guns - M249 SAWs, M240Bs, the M2 BMG, AT-4s, Stingers, multiple kinds of handgrenades, tanks, APCs, armored HMMWVs, Level 4 body armor. Also, various attack and fight jets, attack helicopters, towed and self-propelled Howitzers.

Regardless of how many of them we could get to come to our side, they will still have access to these, we won't. They will be tactically, logistically and technologically advantageous over us.

Also, MANY of the people on our side that would be willing to actually fight have never seen combat (other than video games and movies). Once it starts, a good number of them will either freeze (and get killed, or get someone killed) or they'll sh** themselves, and go fetal.

IF the time comes, that we NEED to fight an armed conflict against our tyrrants, we'll need a strategic genius, and much better logistical support... among other things.

I was thinking of something similar, but different.

On April 3rd, Massachusetts' Gun Owners Action League organized a rally (with over 1500 people) on the Boston Common, to march on on to the State House. It went off with no problems (as no firearms are allowed in the State House, very few people there were carrying).

(and before anyone asks, no I wasn't there, I was in the hospital - it seems that smoking really IS bad for you...)
