The captain says Butler showed them the safety and how the gun would not fire. Johnson says after Butler pulled the trigger and it didn't fire, he showed them the slide action, put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger again.

Johnson says Butler apparently failed to re-engage the safety.
WHY do people continue to do $h!t like this? I guess this is the only safety class that you need. Darwin at his best.

What an idiot. And how traumatic for those who had to observe him being an idiot.

She's a goddamn moron. If you can't grasp the fundamentals of firearms safety, how can you be a functioning legislator?

She has a different story of what happened. Still doesn't sound kosher.

I'm going to make just one response to this situation. Lori Klein is My State Senator. I voted for her, because she met my expectations of what a conservative representative should be. What she did was really stupid. But you need to look at the source of the problem. Since I live here, I know this reporter , Ruelas. He is a slime ball. He is the type of person that would jump out of a dark alley with a mask on hoping you would draw your concealed carried weapon. He would then report that he was almost shot because he is a Latino and the gun owner was racist ! So with that, Klein was really stupid in her gun handling, but what was really stupid, was when that reported walked in, she should of got up and walked out the door with out saying a word. The problem is that any politician wants free publicity.
