After watching the video this guy is talking out of his arse. Yea I agree about the big corporations and the bailout money and then the CEO's getting big fat 3 million dollar bonuses but his approach will do nothing but drive the country further into a hole, and possible warrant Martial Law ! The National Guard will take these losers out before you could blink an eye ! Just another idiot who hates America, the Constitution {Which He didn't even mention}, and people who aren't like him !

Gah X_X I'm a liberal who loves guns, knives, and America. No need to associate me with this nutjob. He's an anarchist, not a liberal. He's just confused....

He mentioned John Locke, who is arguably one of the most influential people on the constitution and the ideas of the founding fathers. This author is far from a lefty, or a liberal, or whatever you want to call it. I see nothing extreme about what he says, and unfortunately I think there are a lot of people who feel similarly to him. I sure do. There is something wrong in the country. The political process isn't working anymore. Politicians are sold to special interests and covering their own asses so they have a job come election time. I, for one, am tired of the huge wall street salaries while people lose their houses. You can call that capitalism if you want. But don't call it that agree with the bailout. Look what happened in france when they wanted to raise the retirement age. Will that ever happen here? No. Americans are too concerned with what NFL star is in trouble, or with which pseudo-celebrity got thrown off "dancing". My fellow countryfolk are asleep at the wheel and don't even realize how far up the river they have been sold by the people in politics and business they trust. What exactly do you disagree with?

I'll start by saying that I'm very opinionated and type way more than is necessary 90% of the time that I explain myself. Nothing I say is meant to offend anyone though, so if I word it wrong, I apologize ahead of time and I'll do my best not to.

I disagree with his thoughts on housing, big corporations, jobs, the planet, and government in general. And I probably left out a few things. Don't get me wrong, I believe are country has gone to **** as well; the liberal agenda has turned our country into a joke. No other country takes us seriously because we've become a bunch of whiny puss***. I haven't read his book so I will not give an opinion on it, but the author sounds like a liberal anarchist (ironic huh?) that is speaking entirely out of his ass just based off of what he said in this video.

Most of the 10,000,000 people he claims were thrown out of their homes are at fault. They took out loans and bought houses that were far out of their financial reach. Yes, the banks agreed to loan them the money at a high interest rate, but it always goes back to the consumer for accepting it. If I go out and buy a 200,000 dollar car, it's my fault when I end up getting buyers remorse later. Not the car dealer.

As for big corporations being evil, or whatever stupid opinion he was trying to convey, I'd very much love to know who he thinks creates all the jobs in America. Taxing them and regulating them only serves one purpose: To force those corporations to lay off employees and cut corners when producing products. So he's being very hypocritical when he speaks about the unemployment rate while also speaking about big business. Though, it seems to be a constant thing with the left side and them not knowing about what they're talking about in the least, so I'll blame it on his lefty-brain. The republicans want to de-regulate big business which would exponentially increase the amount of jobs in the market. It's been shown throughout history that the more you regulate the base of this country, the worse our country's economy gets. Where this obvious knowledge was lost in our history, I do not know. The wealth he claims is tied up in big business is the same wealth that pays for his book. If big businesses were less regulated, we'd outsource less and increase production which would drive down product cost making things cheaper for the consumer and saving us money in the long run. It's so simple it's almost painful how stupid people can be when making it more complex. Long paragraph, I know. I just hate when liberals speak blindly.

On the environment issue, the Earth is just fluctuating as it has throughout it's life. If any of these politicians (both right AND left side) or liberals would go research planetary life, they'd see that the Earth goes through many stages of temperature. So the whole "zomgz the planet is getting hot we're all gonna die" issue is hilarious to anyone with a decent-sized brain. For example, put the liberals on Earth a few billion years ago when the continents were all Pangea. As soon as one of their moronic scientists noticed that the continents were splitting apart, they'd start a mass panic, rofl. Whereas today we know it's a natural thing that they move on plates and tectonics. So in 300 years, our scientists will look at the liberals of today and laugh at how stupid they are when speaking of global warming (Sorry, I believe it's called "climate change" now because most of the evidence on "warming" disappeared and nobody knows what to think anymore ) Anyways, don't get me wrong. Littering and dumping toxic waste inside of a city or river is stupid. I live in Texas and I love my state, I'd be devastated if it became a trashy smog-infested place like some of the other states. I'm only saying to be extreme on the environment is to be ignorant. And this author definitely hints at being an environment nut.

And my hands hurt now so I'll cut my opinions short and finish by giving my opinion on his "violent revolt idea." I've always thought "bring it" when it comes to the left versus us (the right). The idea of a liberal nut from San Francisco wielding his blow dryer at me brings laughter and nothing more. I'm very conservative, and it drives me nuts seeing my country as pathetic as it is right now. So ANYTHING to change it back to it's conservative glory I would wholeheartedly support with my life. So I agree that it's time for major change, as long as it's done in an intelligent and strategic way. Not blindly sending bullets in a single direction, which this author would more than likely be doing.

PS: Fatso I do agree that majority of America has lost touch with reality and care too much about what's going on in other peoples' lives on TV. But I believe majority of the people lost in that false-reality are liberals. My family watches those lame reality TV shows, but only as a pass-time. You could look at it as their baseball. My family is very much on the level I am when it comes to politics and what is going on in the world, though. As for raising the retirement age, we won't know what'll happen til it's done for the most part. Our country is very different than France, so it's difficult to compare the two scenarios. Social Security is definitely a huge issue though. It drains a very large amount of our money and has nothing to support it. On top of that, times have majorly changed since it was implemented. People are living longer, so it only makes sense to increase the age to go with that. On top of that, more people are retiring now than back then. When it was created, most people kept working despite being over the retirement age, because they were raised before or shortly after the great depression and knew to keep working in case of another depression. Nowadays people retire as soon as they hit the age or even beforehand if they have the money to last until they hit the age. So it is something that needs to be reformed for sure.

TL;DR: The author is a liberal moron. I say, "Bring it lefties!".

I hope the zombie apocalypse comes first. Don't want to waste all my ammo on a bunch of liberals and have to restock

Thanks for you reply. I think the term liberal has just come to mean any person who doesn't hold the same beliefs as you. It's the most often used word I see when people blame others for something. It's always the liberals fault. In the 2008 election it was the republicans fault. Now in 2010 it's the liberals fault. I want to see something done about it, not just name calling and finger pointing across the aisle. People have become comfortable with shrugging their shoulders and blaming a liberal.

The term Liberal used to mean something good, but it hasn't for a long time now. The term Progressive is much more PC. In reality, it should really be socialist sumbitch.

Before you get too puffed up, Remember Blacks and Latinos overwhelmingly voted for Obama. These are not wimps that are afraid of guns. A lot are combat vets and not very fond of the status quo.
