Sad news this morning, another school shooting, this time in Ohio. Fox news reports 1 death so far. What is this world coming too? Of course the antis are already hard at work on the blogs and social media sites spreading their antigun propaganda for registration of guns and other such bs, nowhere do they mention poor parenting or children with severe emotional problems, or the fact that the "responsible" adults in these kid's lives are probably the ones who don't store their guns safely in the first place allowing their disturbed kid to get ahold of it. Yet if I register my pistol the shootings will stop, idiotic thinking.

most of it I believe is the mental attitude of the shooter (the kid) some one picked on him or some other BS or maybe his parents didn't pay enough attention to him. Really where faced with decisions everyday all this tells me is the kid didn't have the balls to make the right decision. Anyone can pull a trigger takes a man to just deal with life and keep going.

I went through a school shooting. I was in the eighth grade. Syracuse Jr High in Syracuse UT February 1998. I was sitting at lunch with my friends, thought I heard somebody pop a milk carton. I looked up at the stage and saw some kid with a gun. I got the hell out of there. Thank God no one was harmed, cops used a flash bang and tackled him pretty easily.

I didn't know the kid, but I knew kids that did, surprised the hell out of them. From outward appearances a normal kid from a good family. To this day I don't know any different.

He spent 5 or 6 years in juvy. When he got out he started robbing houses and returning items for cash. Had a little gang of jr high kids he paid with marijuana. Real winner. Got a 14 year old girl knocked up.

Now he's in prison. Right place for him way I see it. Not the guns fault. Some people are born bad. I don't see any other reason.

Feel sorry for those kids. I didn't think the whole thing effected me. Now that I have a little girl it scares the hell out of me. Thoughts and prayers with them tonight.

There's something I've been thinking about. Why would they not let a teacher with a CC permit carry at school? Most schools have a school cop, but allowing responsible adults to carry could protect the students. Any thoughts?

probably the same reason scout master can't carry it's a liability to them if the kids see's it, or gets a hold of it...etc. Personally think it's BS but it's the rules

My thoughts exactly! I have eight year old son. If his teacher wanted to carry then so be it. Id rather have a responsible adult with a firearm looking after my child, then to have a horrible situation such as Columbine High School happen again.
