Default Another bill for NJ gun permit

This is getting out of control here in NJ. Now this Assemblywoman wants the following.

Psychological evaluation before they could buy a gun. "The same one police have before getting on the force".

On-site inspection and evaluation of the household where the firearm would be located.

Having prospective buyers list the members of their households with mental illnesses; requiring sales of ammunition be face-to-face; and further shrinking bullet magazines’ capacities from 15 to five or 10.

Yikes, good luck enforcing that one. That will result in some out of pocket Gov expense to do these checks, sounds like an ATF job. Dont think it will happen.

And who will pay for all this inspection of said mind and home? I think I am safe in saying that one will never get approved.

No surprise here. This comes from a state that bans hollow point ammo outside the home. What do cops carry for duty? You can bet its not FMJ, that would be a public safety risk. These idiots must think JHPs are "cop killer" bullets. Now they want to come into your home??? Why would anyone want to live in the Garden People's Republic?
