I'm sure they prolly just ignored it. What difference do his words in March make? The SAFE Act was already passed. I'm sure it fell on deaf ears, unfortunately.

Unfortunately you're probably right. But that was a well put together statement. He got his rights back though didn't he? Aren't LEO's exempt in New York now?

Yes they are. Which in my opinion any LEO worth his salt understands the true motivation behind that move.

I think it's bull. They only did it to shut cops up and keep the only people who can enforce their stupid laws happy, therefore more likely to enforce. If I lived in new York I'd be pretty pissed. Heck I don't live in new York and I'm pissed.
