7-Eleven Clerk Shoots Robber

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A person who attempted to rob a 7-Eleven was shot to death Tuesday night.

It happened about 10:30 p.m. at 2635 Van Brunt Boulevard.

Two clerks were in the store; one was in uniform and the other was not. The plainclothes clerk had a gun and a concealed carry permit.

According to authorities, an 18-year-old male walked into the 7-Eleven and attempted to rob the store. He was then shot in the neck by the clerk.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.Police say they have viewed surveillance video and the shooting appears to be self defense. Officers did not believe there were any customers inside the store at the time of the shooting.

Also Tuesday, a possibly-armed man was shot by a security guard at a Kansas City liquor store. The security guard told police the man had been in the store earlier and waved a gun at customers.

Then early Wednesday morning, a homeowner shot three alleged burglars, one fatally, when they tried to break into his Kansas City home.

Initial investigations into both of these incidents also indicate the shootings happened in self defense.

That's what having a concealed license is all about.

7-11 will most assuredly fire the gun toting employee. The miscreant's family will sue the hero because he violated company policy by packing. 7-11 will try to cut their losses and put it off on the employee.

Good riddance to a scum bag. Looks like KC got a little lively there. Its about time some thugs got a taste of their own medicine. Maybe the others will tone it down for a bit.

I doubt it. These low-life scum bags aren't smart enough to realize they "could" get killed. Since most of these robberies are drug driven anyway, it's a risk they are willing to take. As long as we people keep killing them off, eventually we will have no repeat offenders only NEW targets!

Yeah, they'll just walk in and start killing people. Being an armed robber needs to be a dangerous occupation, more dangerous than it currently is.

It definitely needs to be AT LEAST as dangerous as putting on a badge and uniform every day.

Unfortunately in the screwed up world we live in that’s probably what’s going to happen. As in the story I posted last week where something similar happened the hero will be treated as the evil one and the scumbag will be treated like the hero. To hell with him, his family and the liberal Obama Media Mania. I hope they all burn in hell.
