This is a list of those who voted against the 2nd Amendment. There were 45 Democrats and one Socialist. That still adds up to 46 Socialist. Where are all those Union Members that claim there is no difference between the parties?

Default 46 senators voted for U.N. Resolution 2117

You realize this is a hoax?
This is the actual quote from UN Resolution 2117:
11. Calls for Member States to support weapons collection, disarmament,
demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants, as well as physical security and stockpile management programmes by United Nations peacekeeping operations where so mandated;

This concerns ex-combatants only, people returning from military duty and retaining their arms and other war material. The U.S. already does this with our military. Frankly I don’t see the need for returning soldiers to keep their RPGs (for squirrel hunting?).

This ranks right up there with the hoax “You must list your guns on your 2010 tax return”.

I am a gun advocate and believe in the 2nd amendment. However passing this kind of propaganda around without researching it shows just how easily led we are. Please don’t take some hysterical maniacs word for something, check it out yourself. It’s no wonder the left considers us wild eyed gun toting physcopaths.

We can't fall for hoaxes even when they are pro gun. The only way we are going to retain our rights is to be on the moral high ground at every step. When we start spreading lies we are no better than the people who want to strip us of our rights.

If you look at the list of the Senators that voted for the resolution you will see a commonality with all but one, the "D". That dose not mean that the "R's" are all okay, (One of my Senators, Comrade McCain is a prime example of this) just means that all the "D's" have to go.

I strangely find myself not caring what the Progressives think of me. Frankly, I LIKE the idea of them thinking I am a wild eyed nut job. It might make them think twice about kicking down my door to take my weapons, or at least surviving the encounter with the same number of holes as they started with.

I don't really care what the exact wording of the small arms treaty is, at this point I am not willing to accept anything at all from the farce that is the UN. Further, the BATF has proven time and time again that they are willing to "interpret" any legislation into pretzels to justify their existence.

Finally I DO see a reason for returning US Troops and US Citizens to be able to buy, keep and bare any type of small arm that they wish, even RPGs. That reason is to make dang sure that the Federal Government fears ME more than I fear them. So far that isn't working out too well for us the Citizens not fearing Government is it?

A small percentage of our armed forces see combat. If you do a combat tour, you should get to keep your weapon. 1968 GCA ended that idea.

So this hoax is just a list of democratic senators, regardless of their stand on the second amendment. Funny how they skipped Republicans like McCain who are anti gun. There is an agenda to this hoax and it has nothing to do with our civil rights.

I don't think this is a true number of senators who voted for a resolution. Before the final draft of the UN treaty was written over 60 senators signed a letter to the UN saying they would oppose the treaty. Now we don't have 60 republican senators in the senate, so a lot of democrats had to sign the letter saying the treaty was DOA in the senate.

Comrade McCain didn't vote for this particular travesty this time. However, if you read my response to your post you would have seen that I specifically named Comrade McCain as one of the Progressives that we need to vote out of office. I have made it a personal point of pride to not only work against him and his reelection efforts but to vote for the third party candidate if Comrade McCain wins the GOP primary again. I have had the honor of voting against him since the mid 90's and I will continue to do so.
