Default 46 Senators Voted For U.N. Resolution 2117

46 Senators Voted For U.N. Resolution 2117 CALL FOR WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads: “To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.” The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

It's a shame that Tarring & Feathering fell out of fashion.
They are are in violation of their oaths and should be removed, along with that A-Hole polluting 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Liberals are constantly telling us about the poor and oppressed in this country. With that in mind, why do they feel the need to keep importing poor people from other countries?

Nothing "astonishing" about it, they're all democrats with a few independents thrown in. It would be astonishing if any of them ever voted for gun rights.

If the Leftists win control of both houses they will do everything in their power to repeal 2A. Get ready. With the state the GOP is in you could see a virtual one-party Marxist government in place later this year. I believe they only need 17 seats.

Stay smart, stay motivated, stay dangerous

This article is extremely misleading.

This was a U.S. Senate resolution opposing the treaty

This was not a vote on the treaty itself. This resolution was a political stunt.

The treaty has never been brought before the senate for debate. The dems will not bring it up because they know it will fail.. Remember, it takes 67 votes in the senate to ratify a treaty. They don't have even a simple majority of 51, much less a super majority of 67.
