As I said, the 'musket' of today is the M-16/M-4!!!
That is exactly why they used the term 'arms', they knew the weapons would improve with time!

IMHO you should be able to get everything from a mini gun to a 22 pistol with nothing more than a background check (as long as they aren't used as a pseudoregistry).
