One of those unmilled AR15 lower "paperweights", a stock, some handguards, piece of conduit sprayed black.....

And a tax credit is not a deduction.

These folks have done their "duty" to their liberal/progressive big city constituents. Now, they can go to the cloakroom, and have a sip from their flask while the other members have a good chuckle.

Remember subsidized veterinary care for farm animals?? (Medicare for cows ) Yes it really was introduced.

This bill has about the same chance of passing.

I was joking about bankrupting the country. They'll just print more money or raise the debt ceiling. Unlike us who have to work our a$$ off to pay our bills. And as someone pointed out, it's really not much of a 'tax break.'

I didn't see if it was refundable or not, but it is dollar-for-dollar $2000 off your tax bill. That's a darn good tax break. If your marginal rate of income tax is 25%, this would mean $8000 of income you would pay zero tax on.

DON'T DO IT!!!!

Not only is this a type of de-facto registration (depending on how paranoid you are). They'll tout all these guns, display them to the public 'Look at all these guns we got! See!!! Americans don't want their guns!!!'

Wow, they missed the Mini 30 and 6.8. I guess those dont meet the criteria so we can have all of those we want.

Why the hell would I basically pay myself $2000.00 to get rid of an assault weapon that I enjoy? Each 2 grand they give credit for, puts our country more in debt which we in turn have to pay for anyway! Think I'll skip the credit, keep the assault weapon, and use the cash money to purchase another one!
