Right now as crazy as it is buying any semi auto 223 is at least $500 overpriced. I paid $599 for my mini-14 in 07 new. Its well worth $600 in my opinion. It has a strut and trigger job, shoots near moa and has never malfunctioned. Just like any other gun, some like em, some dont.

MAKE SURE they are steel feed lips and not that hot lips crap. The bx-25's are the only high capacity mags you should use. Very few companies, FEW, have ever made as good of a product as the bx-25

check out the alangator tri mag...better than the bx-25 for range work imo. if you can find the 10 rounders...

Yeah I am starting to get worried I will never be able to get a bx-25 with Feinstien's bill. PLEASE tell me if you ever run across any!

i only have one bx-25 myself, as i just recently bought my 10/22 (RIGHT before the madness). it has been a great mag, no problems. wish i had ONE more, but ah well....
still, if you can find factory 10's, get the tri mag....it works great for quick reloads.
i did come across a few bx-25X2....but that mag holds no interest to me. looks like 2 bx-25's super glued together. for $60, i was willing to pass on that.

I saw two Mini 14's in recent ad papers called on one listed at $900 that extra magazines, gone the day the paper came out. The other Mini 14 was listed at $1400, I didn't check on it but I'll bet it didn't last long either.

Here Academy, Cabela's and Wal Mart are limiting ammo to customers at $8-10/box, or you go to a pawn shop and pay double the price.
