that's three bad a$$ rifles, whose history (and awesomeness) certainly merits its own forum.

make a suggestion to the mods, i think there is a forum for it. good luck!
Bad a$$? Yep. At least in my book. I carried the M1 Garand, M14 & M16. I even carried the BAR for a bit - my arm still hurts.

I keep on thinking about getting an M1 from CMP, but I worry about the wife getting her thumb smashed. Besides, I can never make up my mind which one to get. Since I can't buy an M14, I bought a Springfield M1A Loaded. And last, but not necessarily least, my wife likes her Mini-14 Ranch Rifle more than her Colt AR.

I vote for M-1 forum, include them all so no gun feels left out. If guns cause murders, they have to have some kind of feelings.

Ok folks, an update. I am in discussion with the Administrator about a M1/M14/M1 Carbine section. We have had 3 PM's so far. I am hopeful....

Wow...that is a nice collection! I will enjoy seeing those beauties in some upcoming threads! I am confident that the powers that be, will give us this section on the forum. I asked for a "M1 Garand, M1 carbine, M-14/M1A.

Seems like a no brainer to me... the users of this site have made a request for a category that will make it more enjoyable for them - what is the debate?

What I was told is that they weren't sure of the need for that section. I assured them that there are many folks on here that appreciate it. I see no problem really. Once they all get together they will see that it is indeed a "No Brainer"
