I believe the mind plays a Hugh roll, I told myself this is not getting me and it hasn't. I am 54 and started smoking when I was 12, I am not as smart as you because I am still smoking. But I never had good lungs and did a lot of damage once cutting and wielding galvanized pipe, not knowing how dangerous it was. My lungs hurt for a while. Was put on asthma meds 20 years ago took them for about a year. I get winded easy at first but the I get my 2nd wind I can do pretty good.
