I was able to shoot the target under two inchs at a 100yd. I was not able to shoot the challenge target at 50yd with iron sights. I could not see the see the target. These are two pic i have in my phone. I will post more targets later my back is a mess i need to rest for a while.

This target was shot at 100yd with a scope with my hand loads. 53GR Hornady HP bullet 24.7gr IMR 4064. It is five shots.

These two targets were shot at 50yd with a scope they are both are 5 shot groups. The target on the left was shot with a 53gr Hornady HP bullet 24.6gr IMR4064, COL 2.260. The target on the right was shot with a 55gr Nosler BT bullet, 25gr H335, COL 2.260.

I thought i would be able shoot under two inches at 50ys. Maybe with a different target. My eyes are pretty bad.

good shooting, 51!

did you get two separate 5 shot 100 yard targets for the challenge? i can only see the one in this post. i'd love to see a pic of your mini.

post your two targets, if you have them, to beat the challenge.

and yeah, i found irons pretty difficult as well this go around. curse you masterp and your superhuman eyes!

thanks for playing!

Nice shooting!!!!

I like you're modifications, post a pick when you get a chance.

And I see I'm not the only fan of 4064. I've got 10 rounds with 4064 just waiting to be tried out (hopefully this Friday).

Here are three of my 100yd scoped targets. I wrote down the wrong load on the 100yd target i posted earlier. All the targets in this post are five shot groups except one of the last targets it was six shots.

Here are two 50yd targets i shot on my targets with iron sights i could not see the challenge targets at 50yd mine weren't much better. I was guessing when i shot these.

These are two targets i shot for the heck of it at 50y with a scope

These are the last two targets of the day they were shot with a scope at 50yd. Each target was shot with a different bullet but with mixed leftover loads shot fast a few seconds apart.

I like IMR4064 a lot it has been my go to powder for years. It also works well for me loading 7.5x55 and 7.62x54R. I hope you shoot well on Friday. Break a leg Hope you beat me bad..

Nice shooting 51! The Nosler 55 bt is my favourite bullet and it looks like your rifle likes it too! I hope to get out and try this challenge soon. I found some burs that needed some filing on my 6.8 mini bolt, I can't wait to see if it improved the 1st round flyer.

Thanks tri, I like that 55gr BT Nosler bullet a lot i can't wait to work with it more.
Your H335 load shot well. It also shot well with IMR4064 but i need to work with it more. Yesterday a very good bolt gun bench rest shooter gave me five each of two loads he shoots. I will post them after i back them up. He shoots Hornady Z Max bullets he says they shoot but they are cheaper 65.00 for 500 at Midway. One load was 55gr Z Max bullet with Tac powder the other load was a 40gr Z Max bullet with BL-C2 powder. Both loads shot very well in my Mini. The BL-C2 shot dirty not clean like my stick powder. tri, Do you use a front buffer i can't prove it yet because i also moved the clamps on my strut and switched primers this week before shooting this week. Last week i removed the front before shooting because i read a post on PU that said that you should not use a front buffer on a Mini. But i swear my Mini shoots better with a front buffer. I will do more testing next week.

Yes, I use front and back buffers but I also have applied the Harris mod to all my minis. I am starting my firework season now so it will be a couple weeks before I get in the contest. Keep up the good work!
