thanks, tri! i think i can beat the scoped challenge a good bit of the time if i use better ammo, but that iron challenge may be one i have to just give up on.....masterp is THE man with irons. hawkguy is NOT.....

that's something i didn't think of. i loctited my screws when i evened and torqued the gas block (right after i purchased it)....never really occurred to me that i might need to keep an eye on it, but i have never noticed any movement in the gap of the block. i'll check it out, i hafta clean the damn thing anyway....

Looks like a great fun day at the range to me and thats what it's all about. As I write this, I'm sitting here with an itchy trigger finger looking out the back door at the rain.

Jim......

#1) VERY GOOD SHOOTING!
#2) PLZ POST PICS OF TARGETS!
#3) great shooting, but it doesn't (quite) beat the challenge according to the original rules.

the rules: ALL 5 shots of a 5 shot group must be in the 2" target. it doesn't matter how many tries, but you must post 2 separate targets with all 5 shots in the 2" target...no misses.....its pretty tough. took me I think 5 or 6 attempts to do it. also, to beat challenge you must post pics of targets and supply a bit of info. check post #1 for all rules.

the good news: shooting like this, YOU CAN BEAT THIS! keep trying!

thanks for participating, can't wait to see your targets!

This target meets all the rules of the challenge and you can print the targets at home. This is my favorite rimfire target. It's good for at least 25 shots. It is a challenge at 50 yards with a 22LR or 100 yards with a 22 wmr or 223.
