You have to go thru the iPad app to get the photos to load.

Speaking on fliers, I have noticed mags will shoot differently from old models to new. I don't get the same groups from my 196 and target mini with the same loads. I did not do well with my 196 but I did shoot well with my target model, I don't know if its a follower issue or what. I shot some loads that were proven before fore the 196 but this day did not work, I have had trouble in the past getting good summer groups, works best for my loads.

Wink Mini-14 Challenge at a stand still??

hawkguy, there doesn't seem to be much activity on the Mini-14 Challenge. How many shooters did we have?? I'd like to keep this alive, at least until the weather cools off a little. Let's move the target out to 150 yards now?? I'm a big fan of the Birchwood-Casey Shoot-N-C targets. On their 8" target, the inner ring is 2-1/2 inches. I think, 5 rounds at 150 yards on any target with a 1-1/2 inner ring, any or all in the ring or breaking the ring would beat the challenge.

That's good shooting RiverRat! I might be able to get out to 150-225 from my brothers place in the video.

Default Thanks, Tri

Thanks for the complement Tri. I'm finally getting that scope dialed in, back where I had it several months ago. I'll never take it off again, so a friend can try it on his Mini-14, before he buys one.

I'd like to keep the thread and shooting alive also. If a winner is declared, so be it, but I still haven't had a chance to correct my vision problem.

Since I am not going put optics on this ranch rifle, I need a way to lift my glasses to the sweet spot for front site and target.

KG7IL, have you put a cheek rest on your Mini yet I just put one on mine a short while ago, and it was a real help. Let me dig up the link and I'll post it shortly.
