Default New to mini 14

I am a dept. armorer but not certified or familiar with a mini 14. The other day my Sheriff asked me to clean his. I obliged him as I would like to learn about any new weapon to me. Question is, is there anyone out there who can recommend a good online resource about cleaning, maintaining a mini 14? Thanks!

You might try You Tube. There are a lot of Ruger Mini 14 videos on field stripping and reassembly. It can be tricky to get the bolt out if you try it by verbal instruction. But by watching someone do it on video it is much easier.

Thank you, is it almost like a full sized 14? I mean as far as disassembly.
