You will find it's best to run your Mini a little on the wet side when it comes to lube.
Good gun gease on the high friction points.

It will make the rifle last longer and shoot more consistant.

After taking my mini right apart and cleaning it as per the nice ruger youtube videos, It continued to jam every 10-15 rounds. It may be beyond me but I did not notice any excessive wear on the internals.

I brought it back to the gun shop and its being fixed for free, they think its likely a worn out extractor.

On a side note I managed to get a mo-rod shipped to the great white north and its installed

I have also found the accuracy to be sufficient for my needs despite what most people say, I have been able to shoot 4 coyotes and 2 or 3 ground hogs with no problem from 50-200 yards.
