Smile My Forst Mini

I bought my first mini-14 a couple weeks ago. Am very impressed. I got a used SS mini with a B-square scope mount with a decent optic on it. I also bought it cause i never have been able to find a good mini for let than $700 used. this was only $550. Good Deal? any recomendations on ammo? or will it feed anything?

Mine feeds most anything. Don't expect much in the way of accuracy though. Ruger factory clips or magazines (whichever name floats your boat) work best. I have a bunch of hi-cap mags that will mis-feed a couple of times but the factory mags work flawlessly.

I am a cheap screw so I am working on making my Mini14 more accurate without spending any cash. I find that to be more challenging than buying off-the-shelf parts and building a LEGO gun. That's just me though.

If it's in good condition, that's a decent price.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams
