muzzle break

Does anyone know if the factory muzzle break on police units is threaded on or pressed?

(BTW, it is a muzzle BRAKE)

Will depend on the make, barrel length, etc.

If the barrel will be below 16 inches without a flash suppressor, they must either be pinned/ silver soldered/ brazed in place, OR the rifle registered with the BATFE as an SBR.

Most likely threaded 1/2-28, some minis are 9/16-24.
