Default 189 Mini 30

I did shoot it today ( bout 300 rounds) I was shooting Wolf Russian. I noticed that1 out of every 10 rounds misfired but if you re chambered the same round it would fire.I was holding bout a 4 inch group with it at 200 yards after sighted in with a 4x scope. The misfire i think once i clean the fire pin and take a emery cloth to it and lube the spring it will cure that issue.

I'm using Herters russian ammo from Cabellas and its non corrosive and not real dirty. Seems to be as accurate as the PMC bronze I usually fire.

This is also serving as my first post on this forum, so "Hi" folks!

Well here's my gallery contribution. Sorry it's the dreaded cell phone pic. Hasn't been fired yet as my closest range is indoor range that doesn't allow .223, I just go there to shoot my S&W M&P15/22. I'm also rarely in the US due to work which really cuts into range time. But the Mini is equipped w/ Tech-Sight, Condor Speedy 2-pt. sling, Warne medium quick detach rings + (as of a couple of days ago) Burris TAC30 1-4x scope.

I hear good things about the Livermore range, so I'm hoping I can get out there before I hit the road again!

My Mini-14 has been gone for some time, victim of financial woes, but a few pictures remain.

well, here is a pic of my mini (i know, again...) with my new redfield revolution 2-7. this scope was a recommendation from posters at another site. i sold my dms to get this scope...the dms was good, but i just felt it was a bit big & i wanted more magnification. i started out with the redfield in 3-9, but again, i think it was too big/heavy...so i returned it for the 2-7.

i think the 2-7 is a great fit for the mini. really happy with it. QD rings allow me to go from scope to irons and back quickly, and much as i want at the range. i highly recommend the warne QD rings as well (only downside being the price).
