Sure looks like a thirty, doesn't it? Is the magazine a Ruger made magazine, or, is it an after market magazine?

I have acquired over twenty of the Ruger made magazines for my two Mini-30's, and none of them, look that big to me...!

It must be a optical illusion...!

They came with the rifle. I can't find any markings on them but they seem to work. They are 2X the length of my 10 round mags. I need to pick up some Ruger factory mags then I can compare. The scout is interesting. I did get it to the range yesterday and looking at 2" if I take my time. Blew out to 4" shooting fast. Scope is 2.5X and you can keep both eyes open.

Group below, 3rd round flyer was my bad. I took the picture off a YT video I made debunking the myth of Mini 14 accuracy issues.
