Whacked a whitetail doe at 130 yards last winter with a mini-14 in the 6.8. Dropped her in her tracks. Have a compact Burris Timberline scope on the mini, makes a nice little deer rifle. Just don't forget to chamber the first round smartly or you will just here a click when you pull the trigger.
