Darn, got tons of AK mags and would love a mini in 7.62 x 39.

What do the Ruger mini 30 mags cost?

These factory ss mags where 50 each i have 3 of them 2 5 round factory mags and one custom mad 75 round bucket. you will have to do some mod work to the ak mags to make them work but it can be done. I am selling this Mini 30 to get another FAL.

Got word back from Ruger today. Serial numbers above 189-25005 have .310 bores. Below have .308-.309. .310 is safe to shoot in any of the Mini 30's.

That's good to hear about the bore size. As everyone else has said, you got a killer deal. If all those mags you have are Ruger factory mags, then you've got probably over $200 worth of mags. They usually run between $30 and $40, depending on where you get them from. Not to mention the scope.

Let us know what you think. I've got a Mini 14 on the way from Buds as I'm writing this, and as long as I like it (can't imagine that I won't), a Mini 30 won't be too far behind.

Question

Yes all mags are factory. I have decided to keep the Mini and just sell the stock and get a scout mount for it. I do have to do some work on the firing pin. It dose strike a bit soft.
