DefaultMini 14 sale price

I'm looking at selling my mini 14. It's in fair shape, not rust, andonly minor dings in the stock. The serial # list it as a 1998. I'm looking to sell local, and not have to ship. I would like a few opinions of a fair price to request. I'm gonna sell it with 2 new never fired 20rnd mags, and 200rds of wolf 62grHP.

Would $700 OBO be to high for what I am selling?
I have $500 in the rifle, $40 in the mag's, and $70 in the ammo. That's $610 total, and leaves room for them to negotiate. I just want to know if I'm scaring off potential customers?

Are the mags Factory Ruger mags, or aftermarket?

$700 may be just a BIT high, but you shouldn't scare anyone away.

Go here Guns - Online Gun Auction - Guns at GunBroker.com and search on Ruger Mini 14. Compare rifles similar to your offering.

maybe a little high. I've seen new ones selling for around $650. But it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

I worked out a trade for a CD 1911 with a few boxes of ammo. It's gonna be a nice Christmass present for my Dad.
