Mini 14 to "M21/M14" what do i need?

I have a mini 14 that is a 184 series and i want to make it look like its big brother the m14 or m21. My question to you is exactly what i do need to get to make this lookalike as close as possible? I will post before and after pics in the end. Please include websites to these items if possible. Thanks in advance!!!

there is a poster here named jismail, seems like he would be the man to talk to.

go to the first page of the sticky "mini gallery," and look at his mini modeled after the m-14. i think he has made more adjustments since.

you might PM him to let him know about this thread.

well, i think first i would go with a socom accu-strut to imitate the gas piston "thingy" on the m-14.

darken stock, straight mag, GI sling, new handguard......ok, that's all i got......:D

hopefully jismail won't be mad at me, but here is a pic of his mini which i think is a pretty good representation of an m-14.

its one nice looking mini! looks like an socom accu-strut and a choate handguard that has been painted. one member made an actual m-14 handguard fit the mini, but i can't remember who it was..
