DefaultMini-14 flat buttplate

When and what serial numbers used a flat buttplate? Are there 2 reinforcing plate in a wooden stock?

I believe the 187-series was among the flatter butt plates, with both plate screws coming in from the rear rather than one from the top.

Yep, my 187 series has the flat butt plate. Not sure if other series has them also.
