Mini 14

I have the mini/Ruger Ranch Rifle in the .223 and the 7.62X39. Luv'em both. That is right about the mini and Ruger R.R., isn't it? Both are accurite with a 9X scope at 100 yds. I know thats not far for most of you guys but, for me I can't see that far anyway.. :D

By the way, what kind of grouping do you get with both calibors at 100, 200, 300 yds.. Just curious.

Thanks in advance..

The grouping depends on the shooter, like how well he handles the recoil, how fast he shoots, and the ammo he picks...

On a real good day, I can shoot MOA with open sights. On the other days it hovers in at 2MOA and under all day, again with open sights.

Some of us forgot through the years that we can shoot these things without a scope. I am one of them. I found with my new 581 Tac, I can still shoot open sights. I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other but can manage 2 MOA open and with carefully processed handloads under 1 MOA with a scope.
