I have 2: the MIA1 and the M1-E2 versions...But I have had them both for well over 20 years....I still Wish Ruger Made a Mini in 308/7.62............
That aside, if you look you can find them( M-14's) ,minus a scope like on the "M-25" & "M-21" versions that "James River Armory" sells,..for around $1350 to $1400...
Even the 1 LGS here that GOUGES everything dropped the price to $1500 for an "M1ABush" model from $1750, and he's been offering me the Moon for my AR-10 or one of my Springfields' (because he can mark it up 400-500 dollars and still sell it. He's gonna be sorry when the prices continue to subside and he can't sell that M1A Bush for even $1500 or 22LR's for 10 bucks a Box!!!

No Minis here (and not likely to be unless I stumble across something too good to pass up) since I went with AR and AK. Before that I came very close to buying the Mini-14 and Mini-30 many times over the years. I still like them but honestly there are other firearms I want more today.

Not much Light, so I can't see what stock you have on. I want to put the new ATI collapsing folder on my 20+ Y.O. Mini(it was my Graduation present to myself for an MS.ed. degree). I have the Std. original pistol grip, but I had my Late uncle's biz Partner fabricate a collapsing stock for me in 1994.

I have one on my 10/22 and it's great. Handled a Mini-14 with the ATI stock and thought it was great, though it is a little doofy looking.
