That's cheaper than a full auto mini 14 if you can find one.

Think ruger would listen if a bunch of us wrote them requesting minis in more calibers?

If they believe there's money to be made by doing that, they probably would do it.

I currently have a Model 5816 Mini-14, with the Wood Stock. I'd like to add a Model 5847, with the Tactical Stock and Flash Suppressor.

Cheers!

BB

The new ownership at Ruger is dropping products. The Red Label Shotguns are gone. They are dropping the Ruger Number #1 rifles as well. I am sure more of Bill Rugers classics will follow.

Those are the high dollar products. Does that mean they don't make any money on them, or sales are low. I'm going with low sales. Assuming this is true, ruger is shifting into lower/ mid priced products. If they discontinue the mini line that means they are on the way out, which is hard to imagine.

ive always wanted a mini but in a caliber other than 223 or 7.62x39 i would love one in 30carbine, 30-06, 308, maybe a few others.
Wouldn't a "mini" in 308 be an M14?

Basically. Springfield Armory makes one. The M1A. It's expensive. It'd be nice to see one closer to $1000.
