Really, with a little work, a Mini will hold it's own against most ARs. You'll never be able to get benchrest level accuracy like an AR, but to get an AR to that level requires turning it into something akin to a target bolt action, with the necessitated cash.

Nutnfancy did a good video, Mini-14 against the world, that demonstrated the practical accuracy of Mini vs AR, and they were almost identical.

Ordered a mini 14 from CDNN on Monday and just picked up today Wednesday. The shipped me a tactical instead of the 18" though. I will keep it. Total price otd was $625.

I wish I would have found CDNN before I purchased my Mini. They have 18" barrel GBs for $130 less than I paid for mine.
