I have a 10 rd mag from ProMag for a Ruger LCP 380.
ProMag is where some people buy their magazines.

when it comes to mags for a mini, don't skimp....pay the extra and get ruger factory mags..anything else is "iffy" at best.

factory mags have been coming down as well. check out hoffman's and i think you'll find 20 round ruger factory mags at $19.95....i don't think any after markets are that cheap & i promise you the aftermarkets are usually not as good.

if you gotta have 10 rounders, it will probably cost more. still, it is better to have 3 mags that functions flawlessly, vs 6 that give you trouble.

just my 2 cents

10 rounder, good prices hard tofind

finding factory 10 roundsers isn't hard (you can go to ruger website). but finding a good price isn't easy.

do you have to have 10 rounders (state requirement?). if not, i would go with 20's they are more abundant and thus cheaper. once i wanted a 10 rounder, and asked for one at my gun shop and they looked at me like i was crazy :p (they didn't even have one). the reason being, 20 rounders are actually cheaper.

here is the best 10 rounder price i found with a quick search.

From all I that I have read and from what I know since I'm on my third Mini 14 now, I say just go with factory mags.

hawkguy, Thanks for the link.
I already have 2 - 20's but at the Appleseed Marksmanship Program we shoot prone for half of our courses of fire. the 20's hit the ground and I can't acquire N.P.O.A very easily. Thus... I need 10's

Thanks guys,
Glen

I had problems with the 30's shooting prone, thats one of the reasons I don't like the 30's. The 20's worked real nice for me when I did the Appleseed.

Thanks Jeff, I'm just a small guy. 5' 3" and my arms ain't that long. I suppose I'll have to try again in prone position, but when I shot it last week the 20s did hit that ground. Maybe I wasn't using proper form with my elbow directly under the rifle?

Thanks again,
Glen
