Default The windy and the ugly

Well, it isn't a fancy new-tech wonder gizmo, but I got some more range time with my 91/30 yesterday (Sunday) on a windy day. 31MPH! Stuck to a 50 yard lane. Better luck next time, eh?

Second target I tried shooting as fast as I could cycle.

Great job Grumpy. Great job in posting a truthful range report. Still, dead bad guy on those targets. Plus when you think about getting hit with a 7.62x54 mm high powered rifle bullet....again, great job, sir.

Thanks for the report.

Still laughing about that post, GP!! Last time I was at the range I couldn't get on paper at 100 yards! But there were some very nervous targets out there, they just weren't mine!!

Great Report +1

FWIW- for all that soot M-Ns- the triggers leave a lot to be desired. Take a stroll over to surplusrifle.com, look up the M-N sections, and there is a good article on a simple improvement to trigger pull. Worth the read.
